30 days Intercession for Your Offspring
Praying and interceding for your children (born and unborn) is of high and immense value especially long before they are critically and urgently needed. It serves to forestall a lot of undesired events, happenings, end results and accidents that could have brought about great pain and sorrow tomorrow by simply being diligent to do the needful today.
As a ministry, we take out the 30 days in September every year for this purpose and even lead the prayers online. Our “today” is revealing the results of our prayers yesterday and it is our firm belief that our “tomorrow” would reveal the results of our prayers today.
This booklet is not only for today’s parents but also for all who have the hope of becoming parents tomorrow. You can take it up at the beginning of any chosen month and pray through the entirety of the thirty days for your children (born & unborn).
For 30 days, there are prayer burdens in this book for each day, scriptures to pray with and prayer points to guide your praying. We believe that as we pray and pray ahead, the heavens would open and divine responses like a mighty river would come gushing down for us, our firstborns and all our children in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
this Year's Burden
This year, we perceived the Lord moving us to act like Mrs. Zebedee (the mother of James and John) and Bathsheba in the Bible who took deliberate steps in intercession towards securing the enthronement of their sons. In the case of the two women, none of them was rebuked for making such an attempt, rather they appeared to have eventually gotten what they earnestly requested for as Solomon was crowned King and the two sons of Zebedee were reported to have had slots in the twelve thrones that John saw in his book of Revelations. The scriptures below show the demands of Mrs. Zebedee and Bathsheba respectively:
Matthew 20:20-21 “Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.”
2 Kings 1:13 “Go and get thee in unto king David, and say unto him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign?”
1Kings 1:17-18 “And she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by the LORD thy God unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne. And now, behold, Adonijah reigneth; and now, my lord the king, thou knowest it not:”
Nobody is hindered from requesting for the enthroning of their sons from God and nobody is forced to do same. This means we can ask and there is absolutely nothing wrong in asking that an anointing for the leadership or kingship positions of the nations of this world in their different dimensions be poured on our own sons and daughters. You can freely approach God to make your children national or even global leaders influencing the customs and traditions of the nations for God within their spheres of influence. You can even request that a national president be picked from your own seed.
Matthew 2:6 “And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.”
It is possible that a governor be chosen to come from your offspring. It is possible that the president will emerge from your house. A mother gave birth to Moses the prophet, Aaron the high priest and Miriam the prophetess.
We have a blank cheque that we can choose to fill and tender that request to the throne of Grace, “Lord, raise kings and rulers from my home who would influence nations and lands for your glory. Make my own children the head and not the tail”. The main matter here is that you can freely ask and if you didn’t ask, it’s not because you couldn’t have asked. So why not ask? Moreover the Lord himself has personally invited us (as many as would be willing to join in this 30 days programme) to ask Him.
Psalm 87:5 “And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.”
1 Samuel 16:1 “And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.”
Just like Jesse, your house could be the place where God finds replacement for the failed leadership in our nation and the world at large. There are families on the earth today where every child is uniquely significant in influence and there is no black sheep.
For the next 30 days, we shall be praying for all our children but with a very special emphasis on their installation as kings and queens on the earth. It is our prayer that the Lord would hear us and mark them for us as such. I beckon on you to join us as we approach the Lord for these ones, beseeching Him to find among our own children kings for Himself.

How To Use The Prayer Guide
As a ministry, we dedicate the entire month of September to praying for our offspring (born and unborn). This is because we understand the importance of prayers and intercessions especially long before they are critically demanded. It serves to forestall a lot of undesired events, happenings, end results and accidents that would bring about great pain and sorrow in the future. Looking at the way things are going in this age, sincerely, there is no option for any serious-minded progenitor (Father/Mother at present or to be) than to pray and pray ahead.
We have succeeded in cultivating this practice over the years such that even our children and young ones have started praying ahead for their own children. This booklet is not only for today’s parents but also for all who have the hope of becoming parents tomorrow. We believe everyone should start praying ahead for their own children “to be”.
Even though this 30 day prayer guide was initially made to be used in the month of September, it can be used at any point in time as led by the Holy Spirit. This is because the inclusive prayers would always be valid irrespective of any calendar period. We recommend a prayer burden per day, preferably taken by both parents, parents to be (for couples and engaged singles) and by every individual who has the desire of bringing a child to this world someday.
We also recommend that couples discuss alongside the burden of each day as it relates to their individual children and also use their Bibles to look deeper into the scriptural references backing each day’s prayer burden. A minimum recommended prayer time of 10 minutes or more is advised for each day. We believe as we pray and pray ahead, the heavens would open and divine responses like a mighty river would come gushing down.
As you begin to pray, it is expected that the Lord would begin to say certain things into your spirit about these children (even the unborn); please, be careful to write those things down. They may be scriptures that pop up in your heart about them, songs, insights into dark secrets about them or clear-cut instructions that come in like a whisper into your heart. Please, note them down in places you can always refer to and take the appropriate (inspired) action where necessary.
