About PMPP
The PMPP is a programme designed to equip intending couples with a thorough and fully detailed Pre-marital coaching that practically covers all the major aspects and concerns for the success of the matrimonial journey they are proceeding into. The programme is available with online and on-site options for intending participants.
What To Expect
The PMPP is a means to providing a more effective and robust alternative to situational/obligation based pre-wedding counselling arrangements which are seldomly hastened (crashed) in order to meet church requirements for conducting the wedding service. The end results of a hasty preparation towards marriage are obvious in our society.
At The End Of PMPP, Participants Should Be Able To:
- Establish a solid “storm-ready” foundation for their marriage
- Re-check and establish their convictions to go ahead to marry
- Identify the red flags in their relationship and seek help
- Understand their Peculiarities, Differences and Uniqueness
- Understand the Process, Implications, benefits of becoming One
- Get acquainted with Conflict Resolution techniques
- Establish an effective and Biblical operational Structure for their Home that ensures divine alignment and eliminates crisis, abuse as well as domestic violence
- Set up Biblical frameworks for interacts with Family, Friends and Others as a couple
- Understand the handling, peculiarities, and issues of finance in Marriage
- Establish biblical frameworks for the control and management of finance in Marriage
- Understand the meaning, uniqueness and the Divine demand for a Christian wedding
- Gain a robust godly understanding Sex in Marriage
- Gain a basic understanding of Conception, Pregnancy, Children and Parenting
How Classes Run
The PMPP Online Edition is designed with a standard minimum duration of 8 weeks involving a 90mins training session on Zoom every Wednesday to make 8 contact sessions, Online interactions on WhatsApp, Private mentorship and counselling sessions with attached Counsellors (Couple), Assignments and take home tasks. The PMPP online provides a better alternative for intending couples who are far apart geographically or far from the available PMPP On-site locations.
The PMPP On-site Edition is designed with a standard minimum duration of 2 weeks involving 2 major weekend physical class sessions (Friday evening to Saturday noon), 90mins training session on Zoom every Wednesday to make 8 contact sessions, Online interactions on Wattsapp, Private mentorship and counselling sessions with attached Counsellors (Couple), Assignments and take home tasks. This provides the best learning and interaction experience but is limited by class location.
Programme Modules
In this module, we shall be looking at the Importance of the foundation as an Introductory class;
General Concept of Marriage in the Bible;
God’s Original Purpose for Marriage; No Other Foundation Than The Word of God and finally Conviction Check for Marriage.
In this module, we shall be establishing the intending couples connection via a series of answers provided to questionaires by the intending couples.
In this module, we shall be looking at Oneness at Creation; Becoming One Flesh; Practical Implications of Oneness; Benefits of Oneness; Hinderances to Oneness; Handling offenses; Examples of Conflict Resolution in the Bible; Divorce and Separation.
In this module, we will be looking at “how things should run in a God’s type of home”. We shall be looking at the Arrangement and Basis of The Homefront; The Roles and Responsibilities of the Man, Woman and other persons in The Home; Frameworks For Inter-Relationship; Spiritual and Physical Operations in The Home.
In this module, we will be looking at defining your relationship and boundaries with family, friends and others. We shall be looking at the basic biblical principles that guide effective relationships with family, friends and others in order to maximize the relationship and avert and resolve conflict.
In this module, we shall be looking at the Concepts of Money and Work; Source and Channels; Operating Your Unique Oneness Account; Sharing and Saving; Spending and Giving; and Entrepreneural Mindset.
In this module, we shall be looking at the Types of Wedding; Scope and Proceedings of a Wedding Ceremony; Wedding Planning Checklist; Wisdom Tips For A Successful Wedding Ceremony. We will also be looking at Defining A Christian Wedding; Purpose and The Core Principles of A Christian Wedding.
In this module, we shall be looking at Virginity and Sexual Happiness; The Wedding Night and HoneyMoon; The Art of Love Making and Orgasm.
In this module, we shall be looking at Candid Questions About Having Children; Pregnancy; Family Planning; Child Naming And The Surrounding Events; Child Care, Training and Discipline; Relating With The Children At Different Stages; The Christian Home.
