From Friday, 10th July to Thursday 16th July, we (all who are connected or choose to connect to God’s call on this ministry, SOV in any way and from anywhere) will be praying with fasting (eating fruits only). There will be intensive prayer watches at 12am-12³⁰am, 6am-6³⁰am, 12noon-12³⁰pm, 3pm-6pm using the West Africa Time as the reference time zone for all global participants.

This year’s call is specially for those who have major promises of and prophecies from God they have not been able to lay their hands on physically and tangibly for many years. Though the Word seems so close, but an invisible wall has kept it from materialising. I perceive the Lord is bringing us to this point so that we can see the sudden disappearance of these invisible barriers to that tangible and significant moving forward in our lives and ministry. These Jericho walls, invisible though they maybe as they may be, must now come down!

This is the burden for this year’s fasting.

Joshua 6: 1-5 : Our main Scriptural text

Joshua 6:1  Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.
