About MRP
The MRP is a programme designed for the restoration and renewal of marriages in order to optimize the relationship for better alignment with Gods original idea and plan for marriage. The course empowers couples with a thorough and practical coaching that covers all the major aspects and concerns for the success of their matrimonial home from the scratch. The programme is available with online and on-site options for intending participants.
What To Expect
Kindly note that the MRP is run on the magnanimous sacrifices of the passionate resource persons who despite their high pedigree are committed to investing in the rebuilding and restoration of “fail proof” marriages towards achieving a better growth environment for children (next generation) and in turn a better society. Nevertheless please note that all logistic expenses (accommodation, feeding, training room, etc) for the MRP are borne by the participants as determined by the camp location.
At The End Of MRP, Participants Should Be Able To:
- Establish a solid “storm-ready” foundation for their marriage
- Understand the expectation, faith and interest of God in their marriage and its value to the earth.
- Re-establish their convictions and faith to make their marriage work
- Identify the red flags (conflict causative root factors) in their relationship and be counseled
- Understand their Peculiarities, Differences and Uniqueness
- Understand the Process, Implications, and benefits of becoming One
- Get acquainted with Conflict Resolution mind sets and embrace them
- Establish an effective and Biblical operational Structure for their Home that ensures divine alignment and eliminates crisis, abuse as well as domestic violence
- Set up Biblical frameworks for interactions with Family, Friends and Others as a couple
- Understand the place, peculiarities, and handling of finance in their Marriage
- Establish biblical frameworks for the control and management of finance in Marriage
- Gain a robust godly understanding of Sex in Marriage and be counselled out of any issues in this regard
- Gain a robust understanding of Conception, Pregnancy, and Parenting of children.
How Classes Run
The MRP – Online is designed with a standard minimum duration of 8 weeks involving a 90mins training session on Zoom every Thursday (9pm, GMT +1) to make 8 contact sessions, Online interactions on Wattsapp, Private mentorship and counselling sessions with attached Counsellors (Couple), Assignments and take home tasks and a compulsory final weekend physical participation at the SOV Honeymoon Again retreat.
The MRP On-site is designed with a standard minimum duration of 2 weeks involving 2 major weekend physical (camping) class sessions (Friday evening to Sunday morning), A compulsory final weekend participation at the SOV Honeymoon Again retreat, Online interactions on Wattsapp, Private mentorship and counselling sessions with attached Counsellors (Couple), Assignments and take home tasks. This provides the best learning and interaction experience but is limited by class location and the participants bear the cost of their accommodation and feeding.
